Members of the Hinton RCMP detachment are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual suspected of theft.
On December 1, 2025, Hinton RCMP received a report of a theft of a wallet from a vehicle in Hinton.
The victim’s credits cards were then used at several locations in Hinton and Jasper.
The suspect is described as having a fair complexion. He is heavy-set and scruffy, as captured in security camera footage. He was recorded driving a dark-coloured SUV, according to police.
Hinton RCMP are asking members of the public who might have any information on about this crime or those responsible, to please call the Hinton RCMP detachment at 780-865-5544.
